Our main focus at Virtus is to provide a structural engineering service for homeowners, GC's, home designers, and anyone involved in building homes in our region.  We are capable of doing complete designs with structural drawings for new construction like homes, cabins, shops, or other outbuildings.  If you only have select elements in your home that need designing (a beam, tall walls, etc) we can provide sketches and narratives to reduce your cost and speed up the design process.  If an engineer is required, there is nothing too small for us to take on. 

Odd things happen to buildings, and people can find themselves in unique situations where they need an engineer to review or analyze a structure.  Virtus is capable of looking into a wide vareity of structures that may need this.  Decks safety assessments, fire escape analysis, existing foundations are just a few examples.  We are also happy to come out during the homebuying or selling process to observe anything of concern.

While Virtus' main focus is on single family residences, we have too much past experience in commercial and multi-family housing to walk away from.  We are not equipped to do large projects, however small apartments, townhomes, retail spaces, or similar buildings are well within our area of expertise and we would happy to offer our services for those.
